The RJ and the Sun are reporting on the halting of interior work on the larger (Spa) tower. It seems Deutsche Bank is unhappy with the interior decor of the rooms and will temporarily suspend work until the new plans are finished.
I suppose if they create a more pleasant atmosphere, customers will be more likely to return.
Meanwhile, MGM MIRAGE has refused Deutsche Bank's offer to combine CityCenter with Cosmo.
And, in related news, Deutsche Bank is in talks with Hilton for the management of Cosmopolitan.
I would expect Hilton would use the Conrad label for this property if the deal goes through.

what i want to know and what a lot of people want to know is are there more lay-offs coming and how many? are they getting rid of all the electricians and if so, how long till work begins as usual? Will the opening date still remain the same?

The work on the interior was halted, because the hotel was looking like a cheap Motel 6 interior. The carpet was junk, the walls were dark brown, and the crown was horrible. The rooms are in need of a serious redesign and some new contractors who know what they are doing.
