Cosmopolitan News and Photo Update

I've added a batch of construction photos of the Cosmopolitan,  which, it seems, will be run by Hilton and be the first of their new high-end brand.....get ready....Denizen. sounds more like a medicated foot powder than a high-end resort. Oh well, it is what it is.  Our friends at Vegas Tripping are already calling it "The Den" -  I can live with that.

I also discovered that the randomly placed, blue neon stripes in the rendering are real, there's a photo of the one of the lit segments.

Here's a link to the photos

My plates full - there's lots more to come.

lol.. wow - tho the cosmopolitan is really shaping up! it will definitely be one of the most beautiful resorts on the strip... its just to bad tho cause with city center tight next to it, it looses some of its power! o well tho!!!

i cant wait for it to open i will definitely be one of the first once their opening night!!

those lights add some 'color' to the otherwise boringness of the structure from a side view. I'm glad they're adding them. Hopefully it doesn't become annoying with time.

I'm really digging the neon effect. Hopefully the spotlights shining into the sky from the towers will become a reality as well. This is definitely the property I am most looking forward to.

Who would have thought it? Heading north on I-15, the uniformity in color and appearance of City Center makes the Cosmpolitan look like the signature piece of the whole project.

Denizen ... that's a terrible name. (sigh) Is the name change a done deal?
