Now that PH is going with only one tower instead of the proposed two, shouldn't the north face logo TOWERS get rid of the "S"? Maybe just ditch the logo part...the building would have a much more streamlined look to it without the letters....

Agreed, the signs are butt-ugly and ruin the interesting architecture. I'm sure the lead architect for this project cringes every time he sees it.

I am also confused as to why the north side of the tower say PH towers westgate, while the southside of the tower say only PH westgate...is there a reason they didnt put the word tower on that side?? Talk about making something look tackier than it already is by not using uniformity.

After looking at close-ups of the north and south faces near the logos, you can see that there is an indentation in the south face after the "WESTGATE" logo....it is possible that the "TOWERS" lettering was left off due to limited space before the indentation--the north face of the tower has a longer non-indented area to place the full logo....just a guess.....

You're right about the S. The logos are a total disaster.

When is the Tower scheduled to open? Have they started marketing/selling the timeshares? I haven't seen anything on pricing. Are there any restaraunts, bars, etc... in the Tower? It looks like they could open by the end of the year.

Another example of a building that looked much better in the architectural renderings than it does in reality. With the exception of the red-glass fin it is just another massive glass building that can be found in most major cities today. They could have found a better name (too bad "Denizen" was already taken *wink*) and yes, the signs are way too large, even by Las Vegas standards.

Let's not forget that the building faces East away from the strip. what the hell is the point?

Who is making these dumb decisions?

Just called the Westgate Office and they said that there are no plans to abort the second building. They plan to go vertical around the first of the year, after the first tower opens in September.
Chad, not sure where you are looking, but the building faces north-south.

Did they really scrap the second tower??? I bought a unit here in 2006 and have gotten no word from Westgate that they have intended to go with one tower. Do I have a legal issue if in fact they only build the one tower?
