Golden Nugget's Rush Tower is Open

The Rush Tower opened on 11/20/09, I was there om 12/02/09 and took some photos. The lobby is quite stunning (It's hard to believe this is downtown). This completes the GN expansion and remodel.

    Nice place!...GN could easily compete with the Strip. The opening of these 500 new rooms at the Rush tower might have helped BINIONS to decide to close down its 365 rooms on Dec 14th.... They just could not be competitive... So the downtown gets a mix of good and bad news....
