I found a rough Tropicana rendering

I found a video on the Trop website and captured this rendering. From the looks of it, the Tropicana will indeed b reborn into something nice. There looks to be a nightclub (Copa Cabana anyone?) over the Porte Cochére.  The towers appear to be untouched.  I am still waiting for the official renderings.

    Looks good!...I guess they will be replacing the old signs with the classic TROPICANA lettering....I wonder if they will remove the giant letters going down the south face of the Island Tower? That tower had the same letters going down BOTH sides prior to the 1996 "makeover"....but they were pulled from the north side then. You are right about the rendering--that DOES look like a nightclub....

    It doesn't matter what the outside looks like. A thorough sand blasting and power washing of the inside, especially the casino, is more important.
