Harrah's is running (not ruining) Planet Hollywood

As some of you probably know, last weekend, Harrah's took over the management of Planet Hollywood from Sheraton. Since they do not (yet) own PH, THE Who Owns What Map will stay as it is. The Total Rewards program is not yet in place and Harrah's will have nothing to do with the PH Tower(s).

Harrah's has no plans to change or rename Planet Hollywood.

Speaking of the PH Towers, I visited it a few weeks ago and took some photos of the lobby and pool area. The lobby is a very nice open area with a full view of the pool.

So will they absorb PH down the road or is it going to stay its own property?

Harrah's is working on acquiring the property and adding it to their realm.

Nice lobby there on PH Towers -- intensely red by day, then a blue glow at night when the interior pillars are lit up.... Hope the 2nd tower will some day materialize....

Harrah's is positioning itself for something..... I hate the name Planet Hollywood. Also can't stand the still Aladdin themed shops. Call me a hater.

I stayed at planet hollywood towers on June 4-8th for my wedding, when I booked the room i got it for 100/night and free upgrade, when i checked in I got upgraded to a corner suite on the 54th floor. The room and living area was absolutely beautiful. the sad part is that the maid told me and my wife that the hotel was only at a 62% full and she only had 4 rooms to clean on that floor. Hopefully it gets more busy as the summer is around the corner
