Encore Going Through Changes

The restless Mr. Wynn has the front of Encore torn up and is building a new Beach Club where the Porte Cochère was.
The club (Switch Beach Club) will be viewable from the Switch restaurant within Encore.  I've included some construction photos and sneak peek renderings to the site. The renderings may or may not be the actual project as the source is unknown (we all know The Steve never releases renderings. so enjoy them while they are up.

another change to Encore is the removal of the drapes and palm plants in the casino, apparently to open up the space. I liked the more intimate feel of the draped casino. What do you think?

I stayed/visited Encore for the first time back in November after the drapes were removed and to be honest I didn't even notice it until returning from the trip when I saw some before photos online. The casino still looks great without them.

I guess Steve is willing to have that Cap Ex in these times?

More revenue for the summer seasons? Can they finish before May?

That is a bummer. I loved the drapes and the more intimate look.

Nice front I think it is to going to work. It needs it down on the south.

Encore Resort and Casino should have taken on a different type theme from Wynn Casino and Resort.
This would give Encore its own idenity
Mr Wynn also needs to have his team create a positive and fun enviroment.
As i visit the resorts in Las Vegas it seems as though the employees do not enjoy their job. They always seem to be stressed and working in a fear.My Moto is always to have fun and make money.
I believe that if you personalize your work place and treat your employees with respect you gain an advantage over your competitor with a positive atmosphere.

I agree about the employees...They all seemed over stressed and just keep watching the clock waiting for their shift to be over... I don't want to hear my dealer complain about how he was supposed to go home an hour ago and that the pit boss won't take him out..
