Lady Luck Rebirth (again)

As you may know, the owners (CIM Group) of the downtown carcus known as the Lady Luck, brought fourth their plans to resurrect the ol' lady at the planning commission last month.  There were a few minor issues regarding trees along Ogden and the egress to Stewart, but the plans in general were well received. The CIM Group will iron out those issues and represent their plans at the June 24th meeting.  The plan is to get this done as soon as possible for a late 2011 / early 2012 opening.

I included the overview of the plans and a preliminary rendering on the site preliminary rendering on the site.

Anxious to here your comments...

The plans and rendering look fine!...now to see if CIM will actually perform the necessary work. After four + years of waiting, there is a bit of skepticism about these LA-based investor groups. Let's hope it's for real this time around.....

Hopefully it give some more strip style life to the downtown. It is in need of that, and the downtown sure don't want to be like Reno's downtown.
